MILTON Keynes-based CLM Fleet Management is recruiting a Broker Channel Business Development Manager (BDM) to support its fixed-price maintenance portal for leasing brokers.
The online portal offers leasing brokers the opportunity to add fixed-price maintenance cover to vehicle orders regardless of the vehicle funder, giving them an additional income stream.
It can be further enhanced by adding CLM’s accident management service and full breakdown cover.
Since the online portal launched in November 2023, 26 leasing brokers have signed up and the new Broker Channel BDM will be responsible for building relationships with these existing brokers to support them in selling more through training of the proposition and use of the system.
The new Broker Channel BDM will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with brokers and other industry stakeholders.
“Our fixed-price maintenance portal is about helping brokers to maintain contact with their customers throughout the period of the contract so they can reinforce their brand, and support increased retention rates. For example, we will report regularly to the broker what maintenance work has been done to the vehicle and they can pick up the phone to the customer and ask about the service they received, and that leads into a conversation they may not otherwise have had. For those brokers that also take our accident management service, we provide intelligence such as when a customer has been involved in an accident that has resulted in total loss. All being well, that customer might be in the market again for a new vehicle. That in-life communication with a customer or driver is just so important.”
