WESSEX Fleet is moving across to the vehicle procurement platform Fleet Procure, along with its Xcite PCH brand and the company‘s nine ARs. It will also use the Stock Manager system to manage its tactical campaigns.

The Salisbury-based leasing broker said that a key reason for making the change was the customer service efficiencies it provided.

“Speaking to Synergy and Carparison, who both use the system, they said it was about the support it provides the Customer Service teams. So while I think there is some opportunity with procurement wins from Fleet Procure, it’s really about customer outcomes. If we can have all our deals on the one platform, then surely that must help our teams and, in turn, deliver a better experience for our customers.”

Spencer added that the current system the company used was rather “old school”, and involved emails back and forwards, while the stock was held on Google sheets. “We don‘t have the time and the resource to develop our own to keep it current,” continued Spencer, “whereas Fleet Procure is off the shelf and integrates seamlessly into the business.”

With the appointment of Wessex Fleet, Fleet Procure now has 52 leasing broker principal firms using the platform, plus 49 ARs, along with a further 182 brokers that have a Stock Manager account, and several leasing companies.

“Having known Spencer for a number of years I am absolutely delighted to be working with the Wessex Fleet business,” added Lee Jones, Managing Director of Fleet Procure.

“As more and more leasing companies use our Stock Manager portal to manage their committed and tactical stock, it is becoming an easy choice for leasing brokers to move all their vehicle procurement to Fleet Procure for a streamlined process.”
