FLEET Alliance has taken a significant lead embracing diversity in the workplace. The Glasgow-based leasing broker has just been named one the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women.
This new accolade adds to the company recently being named as a Best Place to Work for the eighth time in succession.
Both awards come from the Great Places to Work organisation which encourages workplace improvement through analysing and benchmarking independent surveys of the staff.
Martin Brown, managing director of Fleet Alliance, commented:
We are deeply, truly proud of this latest recognition. We actively encourage diversity in the workplace with a more inclusive environment. In an industry that is traditionally male-oriented, as an employer we are taking a very different approach that can only be beneficial to business.
Brown added that there was still work to do.
“We need to be more inclusive. We need greater diversity. These are areas of the business we are working on to improve our performance. But this award shows how far we have come and what we have achieved.”
