FORMER Hyundai executive Geraint Isaac has been appointed national fleet sales manager at MG Motors.
The role is new to MG, and reflects the brand’s mid-term ambitions to grow its presence in the fleet and local business sales market.
Geraint will also be responsible for major fleet operators as well as the MG Motors remarketing programme and residual value analysis.
“As the UK’s fastest growing car manufacturer, MG has a great opportunity to reach the business and fleet markets with its exciting range of efficient, spacious and well-equipped vehicles,” commented Geraint on his appointment.
“I am keen to build organic, sustainable growth in our fleet sales, capitalising on the enormous interest we have had in both the all-electric ZS EV and the upcoming All New MG HS C-segment SUV.”
Geraint brings a wealth of experience in the fleet and leasing sectors to his new role with MG Motors.
He held the roles of fleet operations manager and latterly national residual value and remarketing manager at Hyundai. Prior to that he managed business to business sales and fleet aftersales development at Vauxhall.
MG’s current line up consists of the MG3 hatchback, ZS compact SUV and the all-electric ZS EV. The All New MG HS, the brand’s largest SUV, is set to launch later this month. Alongside the growth in the fleet sector, MG is continuing to expand its dealership network, with more than 100 sites now open. The manufacturer is on track to meet its target of 120 operational dealerships by the end of 2020.
