TURNS out that not only do leasing brokers provide great leasing deals, but some also provide assistance to Labour party leader hopefuls.
Rod Lloyd’s Neath-based Low Cost Vans brokerage played a part in helping Sir Keir Starmer to become the new leader of the Labour party.
The Holborn and St Pancras MP had the assistance of a staffer from Low Cost Vans during the leadership campaign between February to early April, working at the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff.
Lloyd said:
“I was thrilled to be able to help Sir Keir and the progress he has made so far. I also think it’s so important that the Government has someone credible to question its policies, particularly during this current crisis. While it’s important Labour supports the Government in tackling the coronavirus outbreak, it’s also crucial that the Government is examined on its proposed actions.”
Prior to the election process, Sir Keir visited the Low Cost Vans offices in Skewen, Neath, where he was subjected to a non-political Q&A session with staff. The Labour leader is pictured above with Rod Lloyd during the visit.
