CONGRATULATIONS to Ian Ball, who has been appointed general manager at the Cheshire leasing broker Tilsun Leasing.
The highly experienced former sales manager will now be responsible for overseeing the 14 sales staff – including new sales manager David Swift – while also handling procurement, batch deals, compliance and broker processes at Tilsun.
Ian said the business – owned by Ogilvie Fleet since 2017 – has grown significantly in volume during the past 18 months and his new role reflects the increased size of the brokerage.
“Since new MD Andy Bell was appointed two years ago he has rapidly been expanding the business to the point where we expect to do significantly more than the 2000 units brokered this year,” said Ian.
The company, which started trading 23 years ago, has a solid base of SME businesses but has been expanding with PCH transactional sales as more and more consumers pivot to leasing and online procurement.
I know there are going to be supply problems in 2022, but customers are becoming much more aware that delivery challenges are now part of their consumer landscape at the moment, so I am highly optimistic that 2022 will be a year of further growth and expansion.
