KIA is set to electrify 2020 with two new all-electric models. The updated e-Niro will join the Soul EV, and both will reach the UK in significant numbers.

Equipment upgrades to the e-Niro include LED headlights and a new 10.25-inch infotainment system. Electrical systems get a boost with battery heating and the addition of connected car services via Kia’s OVO app.

The e-Niro will be joined by the Soul EV, with both electric cars boasting a range of more than 280 miles on a charge. More than 3,000 e-Niro models will be arriving in the first six months of 2020, clearing the waiting list already built up.

Greater numbers still will arrive in the latter half of the year, and Kia is using lessons learned from the popularity of the e-Niro to schedule the Soul EV. Prices start from £34,495 for the e-Niro and £33,795 for the Soul EV – both including £3,500 Plug-in Car Grant.
