PAUL KIRBY, the ebullient evangelist for all things LCV and EV, has announced on LinkedIn that he is joining van broker specialist, Vanarama.
The former high profile LeasePlan head of commercial vehicles says he is looking forward to joining “such a forward thinking and entrepreneurial company”.
In a video presentation – what else from Mr Kirby? – he explains:
“I’m not only going there because of the vans, but to lead their electric vehicle strategy.”
Vanarama has recently made a play for increased fleet business, and no doubt Kirby’s experience will help there, too.
Andy Alderson, Vanarama’s CEO, commented on Paul’s post:
“We’re delighted to have you onboard Paul Kirby. Despite your first day being in the middle of the strangest of circumstances, your enthusiasm and expertise have only increased the excitement around our plans for the future.”
Kirby is the second leasing funder executive that Vanarama has lured this year. At the beginning of January, ALD Automotive’s tactical supply manager, Felice di Cello, joined Vanarama as its tactical purchasing manager.
