THE Nissan Juke might divide opinion but it has certainly proved popular. More than 1.5 million of the compact crossovers have been sold worldwide, so the newly launched second-generation Nissan Juke has big boots to fill.

New engines, styling, and technology look to boost appeal for potential customers. Nissan’s latest 1.0 DIG-T 117 petrol engine is added to the Juke line-up, as is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In a market where personalisation is key, Nissan offers 11 body colours and three contrasting roof colours to pick from. Trim levels include the familiar Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, and Tekna. Tekna+ has been added as a new top-of-the-range specification.

Although still a compact crossover, the Juke offers more space inside. rear leg-room and head-room have been increased, and boot space is increased by 20%. The cabin is trimmed with higher quality materials, and Nissan’s driver assistance ProPilot technology is offered.

Orders are open now, with the range starting at £17,395. Deliveries are expected from late November.
