CONGRATULATIONS to experienced automotive executive Diana Torres.
Diana is the new Managing Director of Nissan, taking up her role at the start of April. She brings a decade of Nissan experience to the UK, having ascended through the company ranks with leadership stints in North America, Mexico and, most recently, Latin America.
As MD of Nissan’s Latin American Importer Business, she oversaw operations in 34 markets, spearheaded a comprehensive business transformation, and achieved consistent growth alongside exceptional customer service.
“I am thrilled to be back in the UK where my career with Nissan started 12 years ago. We face a period of significant change in the industry and will need to build a culture of collaboration, partnership and innovation to ensure our continued growth and success.”

Leon Dorssers, Nissan Senior VP for Sales & Marketing in Europe, remarked:
“Congratulations to Diana on her appointment. Her vision, experience, and high-performance track record make her ideally placed to lead one of our most important markets through a period of rapid transformation and shift to electrification.”
Torres’ background
Before joining Nissan, Torres honed her skills in the aviation and banking industries. Within Nissan, she’s been a vocal supporter of inclusion, equity, and development initiatives, including a board role with Y-CAP – a US organisation focused on youth empowerment through education.
