PAUL Hollick has been elected chair of the newly-formed Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP).
Created in March through the integration of the Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) and the Institute of Car Fleet Management), Hollick takes up the new position effective immediately.
The change of chair follows the decision of Caroline Sandall to step down from the position of co-chair she held with Hollick.
Sandall has been a driving force both in ACFO and in helping create the AFP.
Hollick commented:
I’d like to thank Caroline for the service she has given the industry as part of the AFP and ACFO over many years. Her expertise and commitment has been unparalleled, and she will no doubt be missed.
He continued:
“She can lay claim, as much as anyone, to being responsible for the creation of the AFP which has been very quickly gathering momentum over the months since its creation.
“We have recently made announcements about our new committee structure and our first ever webinar, and are looking forward to unveiling further plans for the organisation in the near future.”
