RIGHTCHARGE is launching into the leasing broker and car retailer EV space with a home charge point comparison service.

The free to use platform enables leasing brokers to offer motorists a tailored comparison of home charge points and energy tariffs designed for electric car drivers, combined with recommended installers for the charger.

Rightcharge is an EV charge point, charge point installation, and EV energy tariff comparison site founded by Charlie Cook.

“By working with Rightcharge, partners have instant access to the UK’s only all-in-one comparison service for home charging.”

Cook added that drivers could save more than £230 per year on energy bills and more than £100 on EV charger installation costs.

The Rightcharge offer includes:

  • Home EV charger comparison – compares a range of smart chargers on the market today depending on driver requirements (price, technology, design);
  • Installation provision – thanks to a UK-wide network of over 30 UK installation companies, drivers can save up to £100 on installation;
  • Energy tariff comparison – compares energy tarrifs and matches to customer’s EV.

Brokers can earn a commission for every consumer that installs their home charger or switches energy tariff through the platform

Rightcharge said brokers could white label and integrate the tools within their existing website, or provide a unique URL to direct customers to its website.

“It really is a win-win. Leasing brokers can stand out from online competition as zero emission motoring experts and benefit from an additional revenue stream, while drivers can find the best charge point and energy tariff tailored to their needs, saving hundreds of pounds every year,” added Cook.
