A NEW concept for the British Motor Show is being introduced. It’s called the Electric Motor Show and will be sponsored by Reading broker Select Car Leasing.

The new Select Electric Motor Show will dominate Hall 5 and will incorporate all EV content, future tech, Retro Electric and EV suppliers. Hall 5 was previously the Technology Hall.

The British Motor Show is scheduled to take place 19-22 August 2021 at the Farnborough International Expo Centre, Hampshire, located within Farnborough Airport.

The Select Electric Motor Show is being billed as a show within a show and will be promoted on a standalone basis.

The Hall will display a variety of the latest electric cars with experts on hand to answer consumers’ questions, while at the IMI technology Theatre there will be a variety of sessions helping to educate and inform car buyers. Select will also provide a selection of electric vehicles for  the AFC Alternative DrivE Experience, where visitors can experience the latest in EV technology around the British Motor Show’s 2km test drive circuit.

We are very excited at the opportunity of this major partnership with the British Motor Show in 2021, in particular to help develop the UK public’s awareness of electric vehicles. Every day thousands of people are visiting our website and considering EVs and with these vehicles being right at the forefront of our business offering it is critical we work with industry to help the general public become more understanding of the core future of mobility.
