CONGRATULATIONS to Tom Brennan who has been appointed country manager UK of National Vehicle Distribution, a logistics firm serving OEMs and dealer groups with vehicle deliveries and preparation.
The former head of fleet for Mercedes-Benz, who left the three-pointed star in June, is responsible for replicating the success of the Irish business in the UK.
I really wanted a new challenge. National Vehicle Distribution is a very different business from the corporations I have worked for. It’s very much a family business with a real passion for getting things done. They have lots of expertise with logistics and customer expectations. And I have a lot of insight from my background to bring to the business. We'll be working really hard to meet customer expectation excellence.
Tom says the business is aiming to become a one-stop shop for OEMs, dealer groups and potentially leasing brokers, offering everything from vehicle preparation to vehicle deliveries.
“It’s a big job to build the UK proposition, but that’s why I wanted to get involved,” added Tom. “The market is changing rapidly and I think we’ll be in a position to really meet those challenges and heightened customer expectations.”
