SALISBURY-based leasing broker, Wessex Fleet, has appointed FMG to handle its accident management service.
The FMG service is part of an enhanced fleet management service to the 1500 vehicles Wessex Fleet has under fleet management.
The driver support will work 24/7 and includes first notification of loss, roadside recovery and nationwide repair management.
Simon Naylor, director at Wessex Fleet said:
“We endeavour at all times to create an environment where the customer’s experience is at the heart of everything we do. Our main objective was to protect the safety of our drivers by having expert support available outside of normal working hours. The FMG team works efficiently, cares for the welfare of our drivers and sees every task through to a successful conclusion.”
FMG works in partnership with a UK-wide network of vehicle repair and recovery operators, fixing all types of stricken vehicles at the roadside. When a roadside repair isn’t possible or safe, FMG arranges the recovery of the vehicle and driver, specific to each fleet’s requirements.
Dave Parry, commercial director at FMG said:
“With 33 years’ experience in the incident management arena, we know that vehicle incidents and breakdowns often happen at the least opportune times and we are pleased to support Wessex Fleet in ensuring their drivers have access to all the support they need, when they need it.”
