CONGRATULATIONS to Alphabet’s Ifran Zaman, a customer service executive in the broker funder and leasing company’s First Contact Team.

Ifran was awarded the Rising Star Award at the recent FN50 Customer Service Awards.

Alphabet’s Frances Cowan, Carly Halpin, and Jennifer Froggatt, were also highly commended in the Individual and Rising Star categories at the awards.

Why did Ifran win?

Alphabet says that Ifran has excelled as a customer service executive, building a broad depth of knowledge across the entire business and going above and beyond for customers, including identifying and solving data capture challenges for some of Alphabet’s largest corporate clients.

He has been instrumental in creating an updated training plan for new starters, as well as implementing this across the business, and achieved this all while maintaining his own exceptional levels of customer service with near perfect scores in Alphabet’s quality assessment.

Alongside his role, Ifran has also played a central part in the BMW Group UK and Ireland’s work on Diversity. Alphabet says he was pivotal to promoting and publicising BMW’s Black History Month initiatives and has helped ensure the diverse culture and ethnicity within the Group is celebrated throughout the year.

Gemma Fisher, customer service manager, Alphabet, commented:

“Ifran’s significant contribution to not only the First Contact team, but the wider Alphabet business, has helped us continually provide excellent service to our customers. His hard work behind the scenes on Diversity is building a workplace culture of inclusion that reflects the diversity of our surrounding communities and encouraging an environment where people can contribute and make genuinely impactful changes.

He truly is a special person, who inspires everyone he interacts with and is a fantastic example to his team and peers, as well as the wider business.

Three of Ifran’s colleagues were also highly commended at this year’s FN50 Customer Service Awards for their work. Frances Cowan, corporate service manager, and Carly Halpin, customer fleet executive, were both recognised in the Individual Award category, while Jennifer Froggatt, corporate service manager, was highly commended in the Rising Star category.

The FN50 Customer Service Awards are presented each year at the FN50 Dinner and recognise outstanding contributions from employees of the UK’s top leasing companies who have gone above and beyond in their approach to customer service and support.

Alphabet’s Katie Asplin was recently named a Rising Star at the Credit Strategy Car Finance Awards.
