COVENTRY-based broker, Bentley Walker School Minibus Leasing, has just completed a significant deal with the Warwickshire College Group for the supply of 16 minibuses.
The deal went out to tender during lockdown and was negotiated by Josie Shaw, sales manager, with Warwickshire College Group’s Sharon Taylor (director of estates) and Tony Edwards (operations manager).
Warwickshire College Group is the managing body that administers seven colleges of further education in the West Midlands. All the 12 and 17 seater Transit minibuses are on full maintenance contract hire over five years with relief vehicles included in the agreement.
The deal is a significant number for a school, but we were able to provide the reassurance, knowledge and back up that Warwickshire College required as we have extensive experience in the sector. We cover everything from primary schools to universities, and offer D1 licence and driver training. Following agreement, we were able to get the minibuses signwritten and deliver them to the college in September.
