THE Bridle Group intends to streamline its procurement process by partnering with online platform Fleet Procure.

The Oxfordshire-based leasing broker group has recently re-organised and rebranded its Bridle Vehicle Leasing group of companies under the one group banner. In addition, Fulton Leasing and Plan Car Leasing brands, which are also owned by the group but trade as separate limited companies, will also join the platform.

The addition of The Bridle Group will give the dealer/broker e-procurement service significantly greater influence in the market, taking the participating Fleet Procure leasing brokers substantially beyond its 16 current partners, and the annual vehicle purchasing power to more than 15,000 units.

Managing director of Fleet Procure, Lee Jones, commented:

“The signing of The Bridle Group doubles the buying power we have and will also open the doors for us to work more closely with vehicle manufacturers. The partnership with The Bridle Group will allow us to implement further developments on our platform and to offer our partners even more features over the next 12 months.”

Alan Carreras, managing director of The Bridle Group, added:

“We’re thrilled to be joining forces with Lee and his team. The Fleet Procure platform is perfectly suited to our needs, to those of our partners and to our clients. The intuitive nature of the system makes an ‘end to end’ transaction not only effortless but seamless, too.”

Fleet Procure, which now has over 200 dealers signed up to the system – including the recently added Wessex Garages Group – says it is still actively recruiting for more dealers to join the e-commerce platform.

At the beginning of the year, Fleet Procure held its first conference and awards event at Puttshack in west London. It has also signed up to be a partner of the rescheduled BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference due to take place on 14 October 2020.
