Van supply becoming critical
THE BVRLA has articulated in its latest industry report what several brokers have been telling me for a while – that getting hold of new vans is becoming difficult, moving close to impossible. The ramifications for van specialist leasing brokers are fairly obvious. On the other hand it does offer the opportunity for brokers to exercise fleet management competency as SMR and maintenance become the focus of extended vehicle lifecycles as a result. But more vans would be a better result all round.
