DAVID Bates has been appointed broker sales manager south for Leasys.
In a team now comprising three Davids, Bates will cover the south from his Devon base, while David Godfrey covers the north. Both report to David Robertson, national sales manager.
Bates brings with him plenty of leasing broker experience from the supply side, joining from Mercedes-Benz South West where he was national business development manager for fleet.
I know the broker network well from my time with MBSW, so it’s certainly interesting to see life from the funder perspective. I’ve a lot to learn in my new role, but I’ve always tried to provide brokers with a good service and I will continue to do that with Leasys.

Bates brings greater coverage to the funder’s broker programme following Robertson’s promotion to national sales manager. Both Bates and Godfrey manage 20 leasing brokers each.
