IT WAS good to see Steve Cocks involved in last week’s EV Rally as part of the Lex Autolease team.
The broker channel director joined them during the Irish leg of the ‘Capital City Challenge’ for which Lex Autolease was the event’s headline sponsor.
Fifty EVs set off from Cardiff – cars, vans and trucks this time – on a five-day e-rally to visit the other four capital cities in the British Isles covering some 12,000 miles.
Steve is pictured (right) with colleague Chris Chandler who said:
With our strong focus on our customers transitioning to zero emission vehicles, the EV Rally Capital City Challenge is another fantastic showcase for what electric vehicles and the associated infrastructure can achieve. The EV market has been accelerating at a tremendous pace, but we need to maintain this momentum and also help develop the used vehicle market for EVs. Demonstrating these technologies and their capabilities now, helps build the confidence for others to go electric, and this year incorporating more diverse vehicle types to show it’s not just cars and small vans.
