• Gofor and VCHRGD Technologies establish partnership to provide home charging for its EV customers
  • 7kW and newly launched dual 22kW charger options available
  • Gofor says initial focus will be on salary sacrifice customers

EDINBURGH-based leasing broker and fleet management provider Gofor has beefed up its support for salary sacrifice customers by partnering with VCHRD Technologies, a supplier of home charger units.

VCHRGD said it was able to supply both 7kW and newly launched dual 22kW charger options to Gofor’s customers.

The EV supplier is the next step in its strengthened salary sacrifice provision, said Gofor, which has already seen significant investment, including the launch of its online driver vehicle selection portal and a re-vamp of the employee onboarding programme to boost scheme adoption within clients.

Iain Bennett, Managing Director at Gofor, commented:

“We met a number of charging technology companies in recent weeks, but VCHRGD really stood out. Alongside their smart, sustainable, and highly effective charging technology, I’ve been incredibly impressed with their focus on the customer and after-sale support, reflected in their 5-star Google Reviews score. As a result, I’ve got 100% confidence they’ll provide Gofor customers with exceptional service.”

Ian Hanton, Commercial Director at VCHRGD, added: “We’re very pleased to have Gofor join us on this electrifying journey as we shape the future of sustainable transportation. With a focus on best-in-class customer service and feature-rich products, we ensure seamless charging experiences. We look forward to incorporating this tried-and-tested ethos into this exciting partnership with Gofor.”

The first installations of VCHRGD chargers have commenced with Gofor salary sacrifice customers, including standard installations and more complex on-street parking installations.

The two businesses are also discussing providing solutions for Gofor’s wider fleet management customer base.
