CONGRATULATIONS to Ian Waspe, who has been appointed manager, national leasing at BMW Group UK.
Ian moves up from BMW area manager – a post he has held for the last two years – having previously worked for MINI.
In his new role with BMW, Ian will be responsible for continuing to build on the strong relationships the company has across the leasing industry, to support leasing partners and collectively make the transition to electrification with a key focus on sustainability. Waspe takes over the role from Adam Harley, who moved to BMW’s Alphera brand.
I’m delighted to be taking on this new role BMW Group UK. The next few years will see the automotive industry go through a period of immense change as we transition to electrification and I’m excited to help our leasing partners on this journey.

It will be a busy time for Ian – who first joined BMW in 2019 – as the company launches its new EV products such as the BMW i4, BMW iX, alongside the existing BMW i3 and iX3 models.
