New DriveElectric configurator lets customers configure and lease their perfect EV

A NEW online car configurator has been launched by electric vehicle leasing specialists DriveElectric.

The Marlow-based leasing broker has designed its new tool to be as simple, and hassle-free as possible, for both personal and business deals.

The option to configure a vehicle from scratch on its website across a range of manufacturers, is possible for users, or there’s the option to pick models that closely match their specification that are in stock, if an EV is wanted faster than factory-built lead times allow.

Everything from picking paint colours and battery options to completing the deal entirely online is possible from the new configurator.

However, DriveElectric is keen to point out that its dedicated customer service team will remain an important part of its business, for those that want to discuss options with an experienced member of staff.

Electric vehicles offer significant savings in terms of running costs and tax – particularly Benefit in Kind rates for company car drivers or write-down allowances for businesses. Although costs have increased because of higher electricity prices, the rise in fuel prices mean it is still typically much cheaper to run an EV rather than a petrol or diesel model.

Motorists wanting to make the shift to electric vehicles can now do so more easily and enjoy benefits including lower running costs and a better driving experience, as well as zero tailpipe emissions. The ability to lease an EV online is just the latest in a continuing journey of new initiatives here at DriveElectric aimed at improving our service to customers even further.
