GARY Smith is returning for a second stint as managing director of the Europcar Mobility Group in the UK and Ireland.
Previously Gary was MD of the UK operations from 2016-2020. Since then he has been deputy chief operating officer at Europcar Mobility Group for the past three years. In his new role, as well as the UK and Ireland, Gary will have responsibility for the Nordics (Denmark, Norway and Finland).
Ron Santiago, who has been MD of UK and Ireland since the end of 2020 has been appointed managing director of Europcar Mobility Group Iberia covering operations in both Spain and Portugal.
Considerable innovation has taken place in the UK in the last three years to give private motorists and employers access to mobility solutions that are fit for purpose and sustainable. Prior to his appointment as managing director of Europcar Mobility Group UK in June 2016, Gary Smith was finance director for the UK business from 2012 – 2016.
