FAREHAM-based leasing broker PHVC has delivered its first all-electric minibus.

The Ford E-Transit 15-seater minibus was handed over to The White House Curdridge in Hampshire. The care home for people living with dementia is a regular PHVC customer and says it will use the zero emission minibus to transport residents to and from The White House, as well as for off-site events and excursions.

PHVC managing director Paul Huxford said the event was significant and represented a key moment for greater sustainability, adding that the 15 seat E-Transit has been eagerly awaited by business, community and education sectors throughout the UK.

We are delighted to be the first to deliver the all-new fully electric Ford 15-seater to The White House. This vehicle represents the future of transportation, and we are proud to be at the forefront of the transition to sustainable transport in the UK.

Julie Harrison, managing director of The White House added: “We are thrilled to be the first in the UK to receive the all-new fully electric Ford E-Transit. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and providing our residents with the highest levels of comfort and convenience, and this vehicle is the perfect solution for us.”

The electric minibus was delivered by PHVC in conjunction with Ford UK and GowringsVersa Mobility.
