CONGRATULATIONS to Richard Walsh who has been appointed sales director at Agility Fleet
Richard, who is now a minority shareholder in the independent leasing company and broker funder, joined Agility Fleet six years ago.
Most recently he was head of fleet partner sales, looking after the company’s broker channel.
It’s about rewarding people that show loyalty and work hard. Richard probably had no expectation to be sales director, but his work ethic is outstanding - and we should reward people that show us that loyalty.

Richard is now heading up all the company’s sales channels – direct end-user as well as broker-introduced sales – with a staff of five reporting into him.
He is also looking for a business development manager to join the team.
It's really gratifying to be recognised for what I'm capable of. My job now is to lead the company back to the level of sales pre-covid.
Richard Walsh, sales director, Agility Fleet Tweet
According to the FN50, Agility Fleet was ranked 42nd last year with a fleet size of 1,757, down from 2,195 the year before. In 2020 its fleet size stood at 2,496.
Richard added that Agility Fleet was always actively looking for new leasing brokers to join the funder.
“We’ve helped younger brokers who haven’t got main funders on board yet, or those thinking of going AR. Our strength is sub 100 fleets where we can go the extra mile supporting them,” he said.
