LEASING and finance broker, TysonCooper, has given extra drive to its existing fleet management offering by partnering with ODO.

The Ipswich broker said that it had recognised the limitations in its existing fleet management proposition, partly due to business capacity issues.

The cloud-based ODO platform provided the opportunity for the company to automate processes and then scale up its fleet management side.

In addition, TysonCooper said it would be able to interact more closely with its database through accelerated repeats, renewals, and referrals during the lease lifecycle. It also provided greater capacity for TysonCooper’s customers to self-service and reduce labour-intensive functions that could be put to cash generation within the business.

Chris Harbutt, sales director at TysonCooper, explained:

Many of our customers face similar capacity issues to TysonCooper. It was important to find a partner who could enable both us and our customer to automate mundane processes, free up time and talent and enable a better experience between driver, fleet manager and broker.

“ODO delivers in spades and gives us the ability to expand our offering safe in the knowledge that our customers will benefit from time savings while also staying compliant and reducing fleet management costs.”

Harbutt added that the ODO fleet management platform delivered three key benefits to its customers:

  • Peace of mind. ODO enables vehicles and drivers to remain compliant while also making it easy to deliver on duty of care responsibilities while alos able to identify the possibility of fraudulent activity
  • Lower fleet costs. Reduces end of lease surprises, lowers fuel and maintenance costs and also reduces down-time
  • Time saving. The driver app that empowers users to self-serve and manage vehicles efficiently with proactive prompts to identify and prioritise issues, key tasks, and reporting.

Robert Gorby, chief commercial officer for ODO, added:

“To partner with an ambitious broker like TysonCooper is very exciting. They recognise the market is changing for brokers and expanding to fleet management is a natural progression. ODO enables TysonCooper to future proof their business by giving them the flexibility to adapt to the changing market.”
