Fleet consultant role for Harmoto
Due to exceptional growth since launching, we are offering an incredible opportunity to join the Harmoto team based in Buxton nestled in the Peak District.
This is a hybrid role. We will consider virtual working alongside regular client and team face to face meetings and training. Basic salary is £26,400 depending on experience with OTE of £50,000. See below for the full salary and benefits package.

Experienced in fleet leasing or vehicle sales, you’ll be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders and our extensive network of dealer partners effectively. You must have experience working with SMEs and be able to demonstrate that you have a passion to first understand the challenges they face, and work diligently to deliver solutions consultatively.
You’ll be expected to hit monthly sales, service and compliance objectives. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate capability across all three areas. We earn the right to be in business by putting clients at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate should have a driving licence, a willingness to travel and excellent IT skills. You should be happy working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
You will be provided with a full induction programme which will include training on all of our partner funder systems, as well as our market leading CRM system. You’ll be given ongoing training regarding sales, service and compliance processes.

Key responsibilities and skills of the fleet consultant role include
Account management
You will be responsible for converting inbound enquiries from our website, salary exchange clients, over the telephone and working alongside our sales team. You’ll be expected to deliver sales objectives in line with KPIs.
Consultative approach
Engage with prospective clients & clients to understand their fleet needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that address their unique requirements.
Negotiate
Skilfully negotiate with clients and our extensive network of partner dealers to ensure mutually beneficial and sustainable partnerships.
Doing things the right way
Maintain compliant sale assessment and client feedback scores as per KPIs to deliver positive outcomes for our clients.
Relationships
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional service, addressing any concerns or queries promptly alongside our care team.
Understanding the Market
Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to anticipate client needs.
Collaboration
Collaborate with stakeholders to align sales strategies and improve service delivery.
Salary & benefits package
- Base salary is £26,400 depending on experience. Earning potential is uncapped with a realistic OTE £40,000 – £50,000.
