Customer focus
Rivervale’s customer centric approach was very evident within the submission – the business closely measures customer satisfaction and uses it as a key part of its staff training and KPIs. The judges were impressed with the quality of the customer comments provided and the high customer retention rate within the business.
Investment in online platform
Rivervale’s goal is for its website users to be able to ‘shop online and not just be sold to’ and the investment in the platform and digital journey is evident. The judges were very impressed with the website quality and depth of information available.
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitment
Rivervale shows real commitment to the ESG agenda and the judges liked the clearly defined ‘promises’ the business has made for each of ESG areas. The panel were also pleased to see the steps taken by Rivervale to reduce its environmental impact – including promoting the use of low emission vehicles and working with suppliers and partners who demonstrate commitment to sustainability.
