BMW edges towards agency
BMW is set to join German premium rival Mercedes-Benz in the move to agency model, although it’s a few years out. How will this affect brokers? We don’t really know at the moment. And as ICDP’s Steve Young says: “Implementation approaches and timetables that work on PowerPoint often do not survive in the real world.” What is clear, though, is that brokers have a valuable role to play in the automotive market. As their many Feefo results demonstrate, brokers connect with the market and offer a service that is truly valued by its customers. OEMs could do well to think on that.
Bridle lines up to be come significant broker leasing player
The Bridle Group has been sitting on top of an organisation that, if it was more focused, could surely be more effective. That moment starts now as the company rebrands to Jurni. Operating all of its broker entities under the one brand, and with all energies focused in the same direction, will surely make the new Jurni brand the market force that Bridle always promised it could be.
