Ford terms holder Carmmunity opened its brand new office today (July 24, 2019).
Based at the Old School House, in Codnor, Derbyshire, the building has been entirely renovated to accommodate the expanding team, including a bespoke IT department.
The 17 staff moved in to the new offices at the beginning of July.
Although the disused building was bought a year ago, the £150,000 renovation has taken just three months. Much of the design is ‘surprise and delight’, including the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed boardroom and the American diner kitchen and eating area.
Hamel Patel, sales & marketing director, commented:
“The old building had become unfit for purpose really. None of the staff moved from their desks, they ate lunch at their desks and so on. That’s not healthy. I’d rather they took a break and returned fresh. Our new offices are fun and change the mentality and thought processes. ”
Patel said Carmmunity was developing its IT business, both for its portal and for customer CRM systems.
The new building has capacity for 50 people.
