THE Carwow Group has made two new senior appointments. Gaurav Jain (above left) joins as commercial director for its UK business, while Dean Aston (above right) takes up the newly created position of director of people & talent for its global business. Both join the global Carwow senior management team.
Gaurav Jain joins from Meta, where he worked as head of global strategy & programs. Prior to this, he scaled Uber Eats across the UK.
In his new role, Gaurav will be responsible for ensuring that Carwow Get Your Car continues to drive its proposition as the UK’s leading digital marketing partner for businesses in automotive retail. He will lead Carwow’s commercial functions.
Dean Aston will be based in London and is responsible for bringing together culture, growth, diversity, equity and inclusion, and business transformation to create a world-class employee experience.
He joins Carwow from Babylon (now eMed), where he built, developed and led global teams across talent acquisition, business partnering and people operations. Prior to Babylon, he held senior positions at Trainline and Google.
Carwow has been busy recently, having just acquired Autovia (formerly Dennis Publishing) whose titles include Auto Express, Carbuyer, evo and DrivingElectric.
