THE BVRLA has announced that Consumer Duty will be high on the agenda at the Leasing Broker Conference, which will take place on on Wednesday 21 June at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
Consumer Duty is going through its various stages at the moment, with a crucial deadline recently passed at the end of April.
Manufacturers should have now completed all the reviews necessary to meet the outcome rules for their existing open products and services ready to share with their distributors, says the BVRLA.
The next deadline is 31 July 2023 when distributor firms should be ready to use the information passed on to them by their manufacturers.
So the Consumer Duty topic will be timely. Other items on the conference agenda include economic outlook, emerging business models, technology, and new vehicle trends.
Broker and leasing members can reserve their free place for the conference via the BVRLA website.
Partners for the 2023 Conference are Motor Complete, Leasing.com, Fleet Procure, QV Systems, and Broker News.
