LEADING UK electric vehicle (EV) leasing provider e-car lease has partnered with Zapmap, to offer customers a simple route to public charge points.
e-car lease was the winner of the Best EV Leasing Broker award recently, and has joined forces with Zapmap to help make sure drivers are as informed as possible about the world of EVs – and how to interact with public charging infrastructure.
One element of the partnership sees e-car lease customers given a year’s free access to Zapmap’s premium service, which sees an enhanced version of the app include in-car support via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The benefit of this is that drivers can access Zapmap in their car, with live charge point data, route plans, and a link to navigation through the main touchscreen system.

The collaboration between Zapmap and e-car lease has also been strengthened by their recent innovation – the EVC (Electric Vehicle Certificate) – which is available on the leasing company’s website for every EV. Free to download, this simple document will highlight key metrics relating to the battery, real-world range, charging times and performance. The EVC also enables an electric car lease customer to head straight to Zapmap to learn more about charge point location from the experts.
