CONGRATULATIONS to Liam Nicholas who has been appointed business development director of Van Sales UK, part of the rapidly expanding Vanaways enterprise.
Liam will be heading a new fleet division at the Bristol-based broker as the van specialist targets further growth in 2023.
Last week, the company announced a new partnership with Toolstation that will see the Vanaways brand promoted in the 500 branches of the tools and building materials retailer.
The new fleet division of five executives, headed by Liam, is a new departure from Van Sales UK’s traditional lead-led inbound sales strategy.
We’re targeting companies with fleets of 10 vehicles or more. We believe the quick turnaround and hassle-free service that we can offer is ideally suited to these busy operations, and we want to tell people exactly how we can help keep their businesses running smoothly.

Liam joins the hugely experienced commercial vehicle expert Paul Cox (pictured left with Liam) at Van Sales UK.
Paul was recently appointed sales director with the aim of taking the firm’s van sales to 10,000 per annum.
Managing director, Chris Jakeways, added:
We can source any vehicle a customer wants, but for many people these days the brand is not their primary concern. What’s more important, especially for fleet customers, is to make the process of getting those new vans on the road as painless as possible. That’s where we score; by speeding up the journey from production line to the customer’s premises, and by providing the best value for money with minimal paperwork.
