THE LEASING broker comparison aggregator, LeaseLoco, has launched a configurator tool that allows potential customers to build their lease car with live pricing.
According to LeaseLoco the configurator tool is an industry first.
Website visitors can select a car make and model on the comparator platform and configure it to their personal specification, similar to building a car on an OEM website.
From a single product page, LeaseLoco says users can choose fuel type, engine size, gearbox, drive, stock status, trim details and other add ons, to create the car they want. The configurator will then display the price differential between various options, such as automotive versus manual transmission, factory order versus in stock, trim ranges, and so on.
For example, if a user selects automatic over manual, they can clearly see how much more or less the monthly lease payments will be. The website will also value score every deal out of 100 so a user understands the value of the deal as the build their car.The company says that users may find on a higher spec trim is better value than a lower spec trim a particular car model.
I’m excited to bring to market this product, showcasing the quality of our technical expertise and execution, whilst also showing world class innovation within the automotive tech space. This is a truly industry-first product, combining in-depth data with a configurator-style product to make it effortless for consumers to find the best lease deal.
John Wilmot, CEO, LeaseLoco
John added that the launch of the configurator product was part of a comprehensive redesign of the LeaseLoco site to enhance the user experience.
