JOANNE Machin has been installed as chief executive officer at Drive Software Solutions, providers of ODO fleet management to leasing brokers.
Machin is an experienced operator with senior roles at Inchcape, GE Capital, Lex Vehicle Leasing (now Lex Autolease), and LeasePlan. Machin will be tasked with leading Drive at a critical stage in the EV market as it transitions from niche to mainstream product.
Commenting on her appointment, Joanne said:
I have spent much of my career in automotive leasing. It is an industry which has developed considerably in that time. As I join Drive, my commitment to the industry remains, not least in leading a company which has such a contribution to make as automotive leasing evolves further. There is work to be done but I am intent that Drive will play a pivotal role in the industry’s next stage, as we all move from ownership to usership.
ODO owner Drive recently secured a funding round of £10m. Drive is owned by VIVIA Investment Partners, a Swiss venture capitalist firm.
