CONGRATULATIONS to Rod Lloyd (pictured above) who is the new chair of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee, the BVRLA has confirmed.
Rod, who heads the lcv group, replaces Paul Parkinson, who has completed his two-year stint as committee chair.
During Paul’s tenure, the Leasing Broker Committee has grown and now features more representatives from across the association’s leasing broker community.
As chair, Parkinson oversaw milestone moments for the sector that included the introduction of the FCA’s Consumer Duty, the semiconductor shortage, and the resurgence of the agency model. As is convention, he will serve as vice-chair for the next year ahead of a new vice-chair being appointed for the second half of Rod Lloyd’s period as committee chair.
Commenting via the social media platform LinkedIn Paul said:
Thank you to the BVRLA and the whole team for its consistent efforts to support leasing brokers with the big issues. Thank you to the members of the committee for supporting me in my tenure. Lastly congratulations Rod Lloyd on your appointment as the incoming chair, I know it will be business as usual with you in the seat and I'll be proud to support you as vice for the coming year!
