SELECT Car Leasing has teamed up with leading cashless parking provider RingGo to give its employees access to an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme.

Specialist fleet management division Select Fleet Solutions Eton is spearheading the partnership. Its principal Ian Wilson said the scheme is “a brilliant way for both employers and employees to make financial savings. It’s also a great incentive for employees, helping RingGo to both recruit and retain staff.

“And the interest in EVs is soaring; at present, around 60% of all our enquiries are for fully electric vehicles, and 20% for plug-in hybrids (PHEVs).”

The exclusively electric car salary sacrifice deal means RingGo employees can not only support the fight against climate change, added Wilson, but also benefit from ultra-low Benefit in Kind company car tax.

RingGo MD Peter O’Driscoll said the new salary sacrifice scheme complemented products it offers to customers, such as Emission Based Parking that helps local councils reduce emissions.

We are very pleased that we can now also offer our employees a solution that supports our environmentally friendly mission, to make our cities healthier and more liveable, with this salary sacrifice scheme especially for electric vehicles.

RingGo is a certified carbon neutral, carbon neutral plus, and carbon reduced company.

The partnership with Select Car Leasing delivers the flexibility needed for individual employers who have their own requirements and budget, said O’Driscoll; “We are confident they will show them all of the different options, while also offering guidance on charging and energy costs.”

RingGo employees accessing Select Car Leasing’s EV salary sacrifice scheme won’t even have any charging anxiety, either – the firm already has a comprehensive EV charging solution in place for its 150 employees at its Basingstoke HQ.
