FLEET Alliance held its Appointed Representative (AR) conference at Alphabet’s HQ in Farnborough Hampshire last week (07 September 2023).

Facilitated by Laura Muir, who heads up the Glasgow broker’s AR and partner division, the delegates heard from Fleet Alliance CEO Andy Bruce on the future of the company, its five-year strategy and future developments; AR manager Terry Parker provided an overview of operations; while Laura presented on compliance, Consumer Duty and AR marketing strategy.

Our Appointed Representatives are a key part of our team here at Fleet Alliance and as such it’s important for us to recognise their contribution to the success of Fleet Alliance in what has been a challenging market for 2023.

BMW i5 shown to ARs

In addition, Alphabet’s head of indirect sales, Richard Chadwick, gave an overview of the leasing company’s business and analysis of market conditions, before showing the ARs the brand new MINI Countryman and the new BMW i5 (right).

Reaction to the day was very positive according to the ARs Broker News spoke to. One described the day as “very positive, with lots of forthcoming investment”; another said: “the future looks very bright; it’s been a tough few years but the Fleet Alliance plans are very exciting”.
